The dogs are of old Norwegian lines bred in to some of the best lines from Alaska. Thomas won the Femund back in 2019 and also won the Finnmarksløpet and the Iditarod.

We have followed the race closely thanks to QPAWSlive stream and it has been so exciting.

. Wærner says it has proven more or less impossible to get himself and his dogs to Alaska to participate in the 2021 Iditarod due to the Corona situation. After competing for over nine days Thomas Wærner and his team were the first ones to cross the finish line in Nome at the legendary Iditarod race 2020.
